The Unwinking Gaze is a feature documentary on the Dalai Lama’s efforts to seek reconciliation with the Chinese Government. The film’s director, Joshua Dugdale followed the Dalai Lama over a three year period resulting in the most intimate film ever made on the Tibetan leader. It has recently won the Best Documentary at the Mammoth International Film Festival, and has been nominated by the UK’s most prestigious journalism awards, the FPA for Best Film 2008.
